A Joint workshop with Digital Innovation Hubs and other SAE Initiatives was held on 9th June 2021, as a milestone event of SMART4ALL project, growing above all expectations in terms of participation, speakers’ quality and impact.
The online workshop which was organized in the context of MECO Conference 2021 and was combined with the works of the SMART4ALL Summer School, launched in Budva (Montenegro), worked as a meeting point and a field of dialogue for digital innovation and transformation through the opportunities and the tools offered by Digital Innovation Hubs in Europe. During the main session of the workshop, 10 european programs and 13 European DIHs were presented, enhancing networking among them.
In two parallel sessions, researchers had the opportunity to present their papers on the latest findings on reasearch and developement of AI, IoT and smart cloud applications, while SMART4ALL funded PAEs executed for knowledge and technology transfer were given the stage to present their success stories.
A special moment for the workshop and all attendees was the keynote speech of Dr. Hui Cao, Head of Policy and Strategy of Huawei’s EU Office, concerning 5G Connectivity and its key role to success for European Industry.
