SMART4ALL Special Session on SEEDA-CECNSM, 24th September 2021

On September 24th, 2021, in the context of the 6th South-East Europe Design Automation, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks and Social Media Conference (SEEDA-CECNSM 2021), a SMART4ALL Special Session will be hosted, as a complement of the regular program with particular interest for the community.

In its 6th year, the conference is jointly organized by the Department of Electrical & Computer EngineeringUniversity of Western Macedonia, Greece and the Departments of Informatics & Telecommunications and Accounting & Finance, University of Ioannina, Greece, on 24 – 26th of September in Preveza (Greece) and is going to be hybrid, allowing physical and online attendance.

SEEDA-CECNSM, technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, will provide an insight into the unique world stemming from the interaction between the fields of computer engineering, networks and Design Automation, as well as an international technical forum for experts from the engineering industry and academia to exchange ideas, innovations, and present results of on-going research in the most state-of-the-art areas.

Among the long list of topics, workshops, special sessions and keynote speakers hosted and covered on the conference, SMART4ALL will have its Special Session on Friday 24th between 9:30 – 16:30 CET, during which funded projects from the 1st round of Open Calls will be presented and discussed in terms of their innovation on the domains applied, aiming at a fertile interaction for the sustainability of digital transformation innovative projects.

On the Special Session, Mr. Nikolaos Lambrogeorgos, Senior Account Manager of the Public Sector, Greece & Cyprus, at Cisco Hellas S.A. will address a keynote speech under the topic “Advancing Innovation through digital transformation acceleration and promotion of digital skills”.

The main session will be followed by a pitching event.
